We’re seeking skilled Fiber Technicians to join our team in delivering high-quality internet services. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic internet connections directly to customers' homes. You’ll be responsible for running fiber lines from poles to residences, setting up interior connections, and ensuring reliable service through precise installations of modems and routers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and run fiber optic cables from exterior poles to customer residences.
Set up, test, and troubleshoot inside equipment, including modems and routers.
Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards.
Conduct thorough testing to verify connection quality and functionality.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining the installation process and answering any questions.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and testing outcomes.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in fiber optics, cable installation, or telecommunications preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of networking equipment.
Ability to work safely at heights (on ladders or poles) and in confined spaces.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
