Pastry Shop & Bakery was established in 1998.

Delightful Pastries is a family-owned bakery that has been serving delicious homemade European pastries, cakes and pastries to our loyal Chicago customers for over 20 years.

They prepare pastries and mouth-watering pastries with attention to detail, using the best local ingredients, following European bakery traditions passed down from generation to generation.

In 1998 Dobra Bieliński and Stasia Hawryszczuk opened the first Delightful Pastries bakery in Jefferson Park on Lawrence, which aimed to produce authentic European baked goods using as many local ingredients as possible. This mother-daughter team believed that natural ingredients should speak for themselves and shine without being covered with sugar.



Today, they continue to make all their products at home using the best and freshest ingredients. They

do not add chemicals or preservatives to any of their products.

In addition, according to customers' wishes, most baked goods are low in sugar.
