Vista Trans Holding is offering job opportunities for professional independent Dispatchers with previous experience with dry vans/reefers/open deck! Vista Trans Holding Inc. is a leading asset-based carrier located in Lake in the Hills, IL. With a robust fleet of 400 power units, we specialize in a range of transportation services, including Full Truckload (FTL), Truckload (TL), Less than a Truckload, dry, temperature-control, hazmat, and over-dimensional freight. A dispatcher is responsible for: Coordinating and managing the pickup and delivery of ground-transported cargo Negotiating the best rates with vendors, the most cost-effective delivery options with customers, and the most efficient routes with drivers, all while answering phones when drivers need assistance Fulfill an administrative role by filing the appropriate paperwork, monitoring driver progress, processing orders, and managing driver concerns. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the trucking industry as a dispatcher A certain understanding of current spot market trends Good knowledge and practical daily utilization of HOS Negotiation and logistics planning skills; We offer: Up to 4% of gross generated by you Bonus motivation system based on your performance To apply to send your CV!
