The curriculum is not limited to lessons in the classroom, there are also academies, entertainment events such as: balls for children, a visit of St. Nicholas, meetings with interesting people from Poland and America, depiction of butterflies in the church. <br /><br />Pupils of the Polish School have the opportunity to take advantage of their holiday stay in colonies organized by the Association of Community Polska (was Kraków and in recent years Pułtusk). <br /><br />Children take part in numerous competitions organized in Poland and the USA, expanding their knowledge and deepening the relationship with the country on the Vistula River. <br /><br />Students, teachers and parents take part in Pulaski Parade, Corpus Christi procession and other ecclesiastical events of the parish of St. Stanislaus Kostka. <br /><br />The school begins and ends the school year with a Mass Maintaining the Catholic faith of the concentrated Polonia and demonstrating the great importance of the Church in its life.

Education takes place at the stage of initial teaching, i.e. classes I, II, III. The program of our school covers the basics in the field of speaking, reading and writing in Polish, as well as acquiring and deepening information concerning the culture of tradition, and the basic elements of Polish history. Our graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies at the consular school or in Polish schools. We provide caring care and a pleasant atmosphere for our wards according to the words of the great educator Janusz Korczak: “A child is a great treasure. This is a very important treasure. Tell your child that he is good, that he can, that he can...”
The Polish School of Education at the parish of M.B. Częstochowa and St. Kazimierz was established on 27 June 2011 by the then parish priest, Fr. Canon Dr. Witold Mroziewski, and the principal was Mrs. Teresa Ramotowska, M.A. The school year 2011/2012 began with a solemn mass celebrated by Fr Bishop Rojek. It was a historic moment, because the school received a banner dedicated on that day, and funded by Mr. Principal. Studying at school promises to be very interesting. Numerous competitions, dance games, and interesting events should diversify the time of our children. Our school not only conducts educational activities, but also comprehensively educates children and young people. The school employed 15 experienced and qualified teachers who provide students with knowledge of Polish language, history and geography. We want students to be proud of their origins, to value their own identity, and in the future represent the Polish ethnic group in American society. Every year the number of students increases, as kindergarten classes for 3 and 4-year-olds have been created. Didactic classes are held every Saturday from 10 to 1:15, and after the didactic classes there are circles of interest. The school has a rich book collection in the established school library. Catechesis classes in Polish and English begin at 9 am and are taught by qualified catechists. Classes are held in the school building owned by the parish. In 2013, the parish changed - Fr. Dr. Witold Mroziewski, who today is Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn, departed, and in his place we welcomed the new host, Father Dr. Janusz Dymek, who is the administrator of the parish. Fr Janusz shows the school a lot of care, always open to cooperation and all matters. Under his strict control, catechesis is taught in school, children proceed to first Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation. PSD cooperates closely with the parish, takes part in various types of parish ceremonies. The school has a beautiful hall for use, where the main celebrations are held.
The school was established at St. Hedwig's Parish in Flower Park was initiated by engineer Leon Young and several dedicated parishioners who understood the importance of preserving Polish culture and language among the youngest generation of American Polonia. The headquarters of Polish Auxiliary Schools under the leadership of Eng. Young registered a Polish Auxiliary School for them. St. Hedwig among Polish schools in the New York metropolitan area, implementing the curriculum for Polish schools. Over the years, the number of students and teachers is steadily increasing. The current director of the school is Emilia Boguszewska, MSc Eng. Spiritual care is given by the parish priest Piotr Rozek. Students acquire knowledge under the supervision of qualified teaching staff.

St. Joseph's Polish School was established in 2016 and is part of St. Joseph's Parish in Jamaica, Queens. The school offers catechetical classes along with preparation for the reception of the Sacraments and the study of culture, history, geography and Polish language. In the 2022-23 school year, we offer classes in person in classrooms. Our school has introduced very restrictive hygiene measures for the health of children and teachers. Their observance ensures the safe conduct of classes at St. Joseph's School. Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year has already closed.
Welcome to the St. Alois Roman Catholic Church Community in Ridgewood, NY! St. Alois is a religious community founded in 1892 as a national church for German immigrants. Now we serve the People of God at St. Alosius in English, Polish and Spanish. The parish was donated by our Bishop Nicholas Di Marzio to the pastoral care of the Polish Pallotin Priests, who are members of the Province of the Annunciation in Poland. We are aware of the charism of our founder Saint Vincent Pallotti, an Italian priest living in Rome from 1795 to 1850, canonized by the Holy Father John XXIII during the Second Vatican Council in 1963. Maria Konopnicka School of Polish Language offers classes for students from 3 to 18 years old. The origins of the Polish school date back to 1962, when Mr. Władysław Sagan came to the USA to learn Polish to the grandchildren of members of the Polish-American Club in Poughkeepsie. Interest in language learning grew not only among children and adolescents, but also among adults. It became increasingly difficult to teach an age-diverse group. The year 1969 is officially recognized as the year of establishment of the Polish School at the Polish Educational Society. Lessons took place in the premises of the Polish-American Club. In 1975, Father Eugeniusz Kośnik from the parish of St. Joseph made available classrooms under the rectory. School classes were then held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. In 1977 the school became a member of the Headquarters of Polish Secondary Education Schools in America. The school's program was not limited only to learning Polish, but also promoting Polish culture and tradition among the Polish community and the American community. Teachers, students and parents have taken part in performances, commemorative academies, and celebrations organized by the Poughkeepsie city government on numerous occasions, including the school's 25th anniversary (1994), “Queen of the Forest”, “Easter” and the 300th anniversary of the city of Poughkeepsie. In the history of the school, it is difficult not to mention teachers who volunteered, engaged and heartfelt conveyed their messages. The longest internship at the school is enjoyed by: long-time director Waleria Sagan, Władysław Sagan, Janina Haberstock, Romuald Magryta, Anna Kołodziejska, Tomasz Kołodziejski, Irena Kunicka, Alicja Falkowska, Wiesław Kiełbasa, Andrzej Nurczynski, Helena Szostczuk, Natalia Kołodziej, Mariola Koziola Maria Sypek and Danuta Holtz. In 2006, a new school management was elected. The director was Katarzyna Dudał, Deputy Beata Głazowka and teachers Irena Kunicka, Beata Głazowska, Jolanta Nienie, Zenon Podpora, Romuald Magryta, Piotr Otulakowski. Classes were held on Friday nights in grades 0, 2, 4 and in an adult class. The newly created website of the school facilitated the transmission of information about its existence, which contributed to the gradual increase in the number of students as well as the pedagogical group.
The Polish School of St. Hedwig the Queen in Ridgewood conducts classes on school Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Currently, 290 students are taught in 17 class divisions: from grade 0 to 11 between the ages of 5 and 18. During the classes students will learn Polish language, history, geography, religion, culture and Polish tradition. Extracurricular (artistic) classes are conducted from 2:00 to 3:00 - dance, art. The school prepares children in Polish to receive holy sacraments: Confession and Holy Communion. After graduating from grade 8, students can take the Polish LOTE exam, which gives them additional credits at High School. For students wishing to deepen their knowledge of the Polish language, a three-year high school was established in 2011. Prepares students for the Matura exam and for the Certificate Exam in Polish. In the school there are many competitions, academies, interesting meetings. An efficient Parental Committee helps in organizing important school celebrations, i.e.: Christmas Eve, Santa Claus, Carnival Ball, Children's Day. In the school, the “School Gazette” is published.

The Polish School of Education named after Ignacy Paderewski in Glen Head is one of the oldest Polish schools operating on Long Island. Our school is a facility with a rich history and tradition. It was founded in 1930 and since its inception provides children and young people of Polish descent with the opportunity to learn Polish language, history and geography of Poland and learn about customs, traditions, and Polish culture.
